Most tours only cover outdoor sights, but this one also includes guided Colosseum and Vatican visits.

Follow these 2 areas you will visit the catacombs and the Appian Way if the tour starts from Rome city center

From the port of Civitavecchia we will show you the squares and fountains in Rome like the Spanish steps and the Trevi Fountain.
We can customize what you'd like to see even on the day of the tour but there won't be enough time to see the catacombs from the port
If you're booking from Civitavecchia port we will drive you back to the port of Civitavecchia under the ship on time.

Your driver guide will stop at the circus maximus where you can take amazing pictures.
The Circus was Rome's largest venue for ludi, public games connected to Roman religious festivals. Ludi were sponsored by leading Romans or the Roman state for the benefit of the Roman people (populus Romanus) and gods. Most were held annually or at annual intervals on the Roman calendar.

Imperial palaces were built there, starting with Augustus. Before imperial times the hill was mostly occupied by the houses of the rich.

If your tour starts from Rome city center if you don't want to see the catacombs, we'll show you the Roman squares. This can be customised on the day of the tour with your personal driver guide.
The catacombs are among the greatest and most important of Rome. They originated about the middle of the second century and are part of a cemeterial complex which occupies an area of 90 acres, with a network of galleries about 12 miles long, in four levels, more than twenty meters deep. In it were buried tens of martyrs, 16 popes and very many Christians.

Standing 26.3 metres (86 ft) high and 49.15 metres (161.3 ft) wide, it is the largest Baroque fountain in the city and one of the most famous fountains in the world.

At the end of this tour your tour guide will drop you off in st. Peter's Square.

This tour includes direct access to the basilica when it is open to the public directly from the Sistine Chapel bypassing the endless line of St. Peter's Square. However, during the jubilee year 2025 access is not guaranteed due to the large influx of pilgrims.
Your private guide will be happy to help you find taxi to return to the hotel.
If you have chosen the 9 hours option the guide will accompany you to your private driver for the return to the port of civitavecchia or to the hotel in Rome for post cruisers.
