The 3 hour tour takes you to some of the most exciting parts of Vatican City:

-St. Peters Dome designed and built by Michelangello, accessible today by elevator. The walk on the roof of the Basilica offers some of the best views over Rome while the 15 minute climb to the top part of the Dome allowes for 360 view of the Vatican City and the Vatican Gardens.

-St. Peters Basilica interior leaves the first time visitors speechless. The magnificent Basilica, the biggest church in the word, houses some of the most famous works of art by Michelangello and Bernini.

-Popes Tombs located under St. Peters Basilica with over 160 Popes tombs from St. Peter to John Paul 1.

-Vatican Teutonic Cemetery located in part of Vatican City closed to general public where St. Peters had been martyred at the time of Nero.

-Excavations area under St. Peters Basilica with tomb of St. Peter.

Upon completion of the tour in Vatican guests can stop for lunch in one of Vatican Museums cafes and continue with self guided visit through Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel or join one of our afternoon tours of Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel.
